The electronic gauge Monocote enables to check dimensions from 2 or 4 inductive, digital probes or linear encoders. Three indicator lights or an analogical diode display indicate the dimension position compared with tolerance limits.
The electronic gauge Monocote is fitted with digital memories which record the dimension evolution during a dynamic measurement (ovality, flatness, eccentricity, etc.) It is therefore possible to display the maximum, minimum, maximum-minimum and average value of a dimension.
It is possible to simultaneously connect maximum 4 of the following different types of probes:
- 2 standard inductive probes
- 4 digital probes (Orbit Network)
- 4 linear encoders (Orbit Network).
The 4 probes are each given a coefficient and can be combined to measure one dimension.
Many functions and measurement modes can be selected by means of the keyboard or by remote control through the RS 232 / RS 485 port:
- Nominal dimension
- Tolerance limits
- Dimension of the master piece (reference piece)
- Calibration mode and calibration checking
- Storage of over/under tolerance limits
- Display of individual probes
- Limitation of the maximum measuring range of different probes
- Measurement mode (maxi-mini, maxi, mini, average, median)
- Relative display compared with an original position
- Display resolution (2,3,4 decimals)
- Metric or imperial measurements (mm or inches)
- Temporary measurement stop
- Selection between 8 measurement configurations (8 dimensions) with automatic or non automatic change.
A RS 232 or RS 485 serial port enables the user to read the measured values and to download all the parameters which will be used to operate the Monocote.
Bargraph display: The dimension position compared with tolerances is indicated on a 30 LED analog display.
Relay board: Two relays give the state of the tolerance indicator lights. The functions can be selected by remote control during dynamic measurements thanks to 4 optocoupled inputs.
Multi-functional board: Two relays give the state of the tolerance indicator lights. Two analog outputs give a 0-10 Volts and 4-20 mA signal which indicates the dimension position compared with two programmable thresholds. The functions can be selected by remote control during dynamic measurements thanks to 4 optocoupled inputs. 1 to 8 programmable sorting classes can be defined with 8 optocoupled outputs.
Open colectors option: (ref 24170) Two open collector transistors (PNP) give the state of the tolerance indicator lights. The functions can be selected by remote control during dynamic measurements thanks to 4 optocoupled inputs.
